...an analysis well-powered enough to show a reduction in risk of death during the study period. The keywords here are "during the study period". If one places time limits on the period of study, it's possible to "prove" just about anything.

Thomas - jump to conclusions much? No one said a word about euthanizing her. They merely said that it's sometimes cruel to keep people alive by artificial means. She was a beautiful woman and obviously physically active or she would not have been riding a zip line in the first place.

My thoughts, exactly. This woman is not a minor. She is 24 years old. Her blabbermouth father has no business telling the world about her medical condition without her consent.

...fiberous material that attaches musle to meat... WTF?!? Muscle is meat. Fascia is "a sheet or band of fibrous connective tissue enveloping, separating, or binding together muscles, organs, and other soft structures of the body".
